CYANOTYPE WORKSHOP - Explore one of the oldest photographic processes

Do you want to unlock your creativity again?

The cyanotype process is a timeless photographic process that allows you to create your own prints. In my workshop you will learn how you can immortalise organic materials like flowers, leaves or everyday objects on light-sensitive paper without a darkroom.

The cyanotype process is a contact printing technique that relies on the exposure of a light-sensitive emulsion to UV light, typically sunlight.

As each exposure is different, cyanotypes are unique pieces of art allowing you to transform the ordinary into something extraordinary.

April Arleine Cyanotype Workshop

I will share my knowledge with you.

I am April. I am an Austrian expressionist fascinated by film photography and alternative processes. The cyanotype process allows me to create my own prints at home without the need of a darkroom. It's a very interesting and accessible process that allows us to experiment with the elements. No cyanotype is like the other and the sensation of a physical image coming to life in front of your eyes has a magical quality. It's definitely something you should experience at least once in your life.
