April and the Dollhouse Dancers is an attempt to visualise the limitations of fashion in a surrealistic and fun way. The series was created from Nude Art prints (self-portraits) that were dressed with different kinds of non-wearables. In a third step the dressed print was scanned in order to receive the final image.
What if there were no boundaries?
Strange & Catchy, the photographic series aims to be thought-provoking. In the photographers utopian world every thing can be turned into a wearable. By dressing the Dollhouse Dancers in fruits, feathers and other organic materials the question arises if current efforts to re-use and/or recycle organic material are sufficient. Could fashion potentially be rethought? And if so: in which space can designs without limitations exist?
